The anthurium is a genus of about 1000 speices of flowering plants, the largest genus of the araceae family (aroids). The genus is native to the Americas, where it is distributed from northern Mexico, to northern Argentina and parts of Caribbean.
It has various surfaces and shapes of the leaves, from velvet, glossy, smouth, rughy, mainly dark green, with different colous of veins.
